Rules				Approved by the Executive Council of the Sandringham Angler's Club in meeting on 19th March 2009
1	Each Tipster will Pay a non refundable $20 Entry Fee to enter the competition ( Must be paid by round 5 )
2	Tips to be submitted by the bounce of first game of the round otherwise lowest score for that round will be given. Tips can be sent via Phone (0435 1678 23 ) or Email info@sandringhamanglersclub.com if you cant make it down Tuesday
3	One point will be awarded to a Tipster's score for each correctly tipped winning team Game
4	One hallf point will be awarded to a Tipster' score for each Drawn game
5	No tips may be entered for previously played Games
6	Any unsubmitted Tips after the bounce of first game of the round will be automatically allocated the lowest score for that round as per Rule 2
7	Determination of three or more winners by the most points accumulated in 22 Rounds
8	Award 1st Place to the Tipster with the highest Accumulated score and 60% of Prize Pool(subject to Rule 11)
9	Award 2nd Place to the Tipster with the next highest Accumulated score and 30% of Prize Pool(subject to Rule 11)
10	Award 3rd Place to the Tipster with the next highest Accumulated score and 10% of Prize Pool(subject to Rule 11)
11	In the case of a tie for points at the end of 22 rounds the following procedure is to be applied
	11.1	Find the Number of Tipsters on equal top score ie 1,2,3 or more than 3
		a	If only one, apply Rule 8 proceed then with Rule 11.2
		b	If two, Award 45% of Prize Pool to each of the joint winners (that is combine the 1st and 2nd Place Prize pool)proceed then with Rule 11.3
		c	If three, Award 33% of Prize Pool to each of the joint winners(that is combine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Prize pool)
		d	If more than three, Divide the total Prize Pool evenly between each of the joint winners
	11.2	Where only one Top scorer has been identified find the Number of Tipsters on equal second top score ie 1, 2 or more than 2
		a	If only one, apply Rule 9 proceed then with Rule 11.3
		b	If a tie occurs for 2nd Place, combine the 2nd and 3rd Place Prize Pool for division evenly between Tipters on that score (ie 40% of Prize Pool)
	11.3	Where two Top scorers have been identified, find the Number of Tipsters on equal third top score ie 1or more than 1
		a	If only one, apply Rule 10
		b	If a tie occurs for 3rd Place,  divide 10% of the Prize Pool evenly between the Tipters on that score
12	Entry fees to be held by the Club on trust till the distribution of Awards
13	Late entrants may be allowed with full payment of $20 and the assignment of lowest points scored in each round to date only if points do not immediately put a prospective tipster into the first 3 places on the table of accumulated scores
14	Appeals for adjustment to published scores are subject to the following procedures:-
	a	During the Season of Rounds 1 to 22 an appeal for adjustment may be made at any time in writing, signed by the Tipster, citing the perceived irregularity in the application of the rules or the computation of results regarding the Tipster making the appeal.
	b	In the case where an appeal is made for review of another Tipster's result in writing signed by 2 Tipsters which would reduce the accumulated points of that Tipster, a sub committee of 3 including the Game Controller with 2 further Club Members appointed for the purpose by the Club Executive Board, not including the current top 5 places on the accumulated scores list, will review the appeal and determine if any corrrective action is required then authorise the Game Controller to make the correction.
	c	An appeal by any Tipster/s to increase another Tipster's result will not be entertained( see Rule 14a for this purpose)
15	The Game Controller will Report the names of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Tipsters from the accumulated scores and the Total Prize Pool and their potential winnings from the prize pool at each meeting of the members.
16	The Game Controller will Report the accumulated number of adjustments made under rule 14 and the details of any adjustments made under Rule 14 since the last report to members at each meeting of members until the Prize Pool is distributed to winners.
