INTERSTING STORY:
We received an email from Steve Trelly from Trelly’s Hunting and Fishing Tackle World in Shepparton and so the story goes.....

Chris O’halloran was fishing along the Murray River on the NSW side near Swan Hill when he caught a 60cm.cod.  He tethered the cod in the water to keep for fresh eating.

When he returned he was shocked with what he found. As he pulled it in, he thought it was snagged and thought it must have been wrapped around a log.

A great big head appeared which was around 70 to 90 lbs and 1.2 meters long.
The 60cm had been swallowed by the large cod!

Chris rang a local farmer and friend to help pull the fish into a net. After some quick photos the huge cod was released back into the water.
